Visionary founder Dr. Beverlin Hammett, emerges from a history steeped in the pulsating heartbeat of New York City’s diverse musical culture. Her upbringing was a kaleidoscope of sound: the groove of R&B, the attitude of rap, the soul of blues, the drive of rock-n-roll, and the infectious rhythms of Caribbean and Latin genres. Her father—Mr. S.O.S. (Sound on Sound)—was more than just a DJ. He was the spark. From underground clubs to block parties, he moved the masses. But in 2004, everything changed.

 

On a flight, originating in Abuja Nigeria, with a layover in London England, bound for New York City, Dr. Hammett did not just traverse three different continents, but she transcended into a new spiritual identity- she received Jesus Christ in a supernatural moment that shattered the world she knew.

 

It was on July 16, 2004, that she died and was Born Again.
